Last night I was blessed enough to be sent home only an hour into my shift. I was informed that my open heart was going to the ICU and not going to come back to me. We carry one other patient with our open heart returns, and by the luck of the draw...our census in the hospital was down last night as well! So...on my way out to my car...the buckle broke over the top of my left shoe. This is the second time this has happened in the last 7 month. Sadness over came me, but the sadness was quickly lifted when I realized..."SWEET! This means I can buy a new pair!"
So, last night, Ian and I ran to Scheel's quick and picked up a new pair. Below is a picture of the new work shoes I have now...that I am currently breaking in! These shoes totally rock! They are all individually hand stitched so every pair fits differently. If you are interested in checking them out try one size bigger on and you will be in foot heaven.

Well, since I'm at work, I guess I should get back to charting. Tommorrow is Friday so...HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
Thank you for your business, and great pick on the shoes!
