Ian and mommy!

Hello, all! So how was the holiday weekend for you all? Well, mine was filled with work, work, and more work. I didn't get much of a break until after the holiday was over. I've had the last three days to myself to...well...be a mom alone at home without the kids. I thought I would totally love it, but I found myself thinking about the kids. I ended up getting my toes done one day...nice, but the other days...I spent sleeping. Sleep? What is that all about?! LOL!

It seems like a strange weather switch has occurred. The weather here in Nebraska has done some strange fliparoo. It has been under 80 most days this week and I LOVE IT! It's almost like the first days of spring. You are so sick of the extremes that you are totally ready for a milder day.

In any case, this is the first week that Sophia has gone to Preschool full-time and Ian has had his first week of part time daycare. YES! I've been waiting for this day for almost 18 months. I haven't really had a whole lot of time alone with Ian, and I'm really looking forward to spending two days a week alone at home with Ian. He is such a little mama's boy, and I hope this helps him to feel like I'm not going to leave him everytime I...oh...go to the bathroom. I haven't been able to pee by myself for almost 18 months either. If I try Ian is screaming from behind the door to the bathroom. Silly little man!

Anyway, I guess I should get a shower in before Ian startes to get sleepy. OH...one last thing before I sign off. Congrat's to my friends Kevin and Beth Buckley on the announcement of their second pregnancy! Thier next baby is due the end of March. As most of you know...March is an awesome month to be born!!! Please pray for a safe and blessed pregnancy for them!
