My little man is grow'in up!

So...yesterday was a big day in the Anderson household. Ian graduated from his crib to a toddler bed! Well, graduated is not really the best word...forced himself into a toddler bed is probably more accurate. We went to lay him down in his crib for nap time yesterday afternoon and he wasn't going to have it. He jumped over the crib rail once...and then twenty minutes later...he did it again.

As a result, Daddy spent the afternoon putting his toddler bed together. As you can see from the pictures...his crib was still up for awhile, but we took it down once the dust had cleared on the toddler bed. He almost looks too big for the toddler bed, but honestly...this is all we could afford right now. He loves it...when he doesn't have to sleep in it.

Last night was awful. He screamed and thrashed and swung all over creation, but daddy pushed on and won. It took just under a hour to get him down last night for the night. Surprisingly, he stayed in bed most of the night. I think it was around 5:30 a.m....his normal wake up time...that he came to his door crying for mom. I guess I should have taken a picture of him this morning, but as most of you know...I am really, really, really, really not a morning person...well...day person for that matter.

In any case, enjoy the pictures below. I'll have another post tonight about all this gal dang frick'in snow we have been getting since Sunday a.m. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah....I know that it is January....in Nebraska...but really...if you liven in Nebraska...own a home...have a stink'in driveway...the state should automatically give you a stink'in snow blower!!! I've had my workout for the day. Count it...I've been out three stink'in times to scoop the sidewalks, driveway, and steps outside our front door. Two out of those three times I got the kids ready to go out with me. Lord...snow.

Dude...I totally thought his bed was going to break with both of them in it. As most of you know...I don't exactly have to tiniest kids. Their height makes it tough on them sometimes!
Ian's room looks so big now! It's hard to believe last year at this time we were getting ready to celebrate his first birthday...and now we are celebrating his 2nd in a few short months!!! March is such a great month for so many reasons!
Sophia felt left out...so we had to take a picture of her on her bed. Yes...my kids run around in their underwear...ALL THE TIME...b/c daddy does too!
