Please...don't make a sound!

So...as most of you remember...Ian spent his first night in his toddler bed three nights ago. It was a rough, rough, rough, rough first night in the beginning, but in the end...he did well. Last night he must have been tired! The two kids and I were laying in my bed and Ian crashed early in the night. I let him sleep in my bed until I got Sophia settled into her own bed. Five years later...she still doesn't like to sleep away from mom. I don't understand it. She complains about how mom AND dad snore, but she still wants to be right beside both of us.

ANYWAY...I went to go to bed after playing some late night Dance Central on the Kinect last night. Brushed my teeth, flossed, and took two tylenol p.m.'s. I was ready to call it a night...AND THEN...Ian woke up. He did not want to be in HIS bed. "Mama...mama...dadda...daddaaaaa!!!!" He was even attempting to climb the gate in front of his room door. Lord...so...2 1/2 hours later...I thought he was out for the count...but I guess not. I swear the whole city of Omaha could hear this child. It was like we were beating him. The opposite was true after a 2 1/2 hour battle. I was out for the count! I couldn't handle it anymore!!! Warren got up and decided to try and get him to lay down. I guess he was up for almost two hours trying to get him to settle down. Ian fought both of us tooth and nail on not sleeping in his room. I've never seen or had a child more determined to win. Lord!

To make all this super, super awesome...he RAN NON-STOP ALL DAY TODAY!!! Good Lord. Like I said earlier...hopefully he sleeps better tonight. I'm hoping all the struggle he gave us last night will pay off tonight. Please say a little prayer...especially for the rest of the week. I'm at work Wed, Thurs, Sat, and Sun...so pray for Warren's sanity. He'll need it.

When Warren got home tonight...he said..."My tubes are GOING to be tied THIS YEAR! It was like we had a newborn again last night!" Yup...after Ian there will be no more Anderson's from Nebraska populating the world. Lord in heaven! I'm not sure how parents do it with more than two kids...and still stay sane!!! God bless all of you with children!

Anway, on to another chilly subject....Nebraska weather. It was chilly, chilly, chilly today. The sun was bright and shining, but it was bitter cold! It doesn't look like it will be over zero anytime before noon tomorrow. I don't mind the snow, but cold weather like this makes me more grateful for spring and fall...I love the in between seasons! Well, I'm going to call it a night! Hope this finds you all well!
