Sunny fun!

Thought you all might enjoy a little sunny fun from our little friend, Ian! Warren seems to think he looks like me in this picture, but when I look at him...all I see is Warren! He is a little smoosher!

The mane is tamed!

Ok...I admit...it has been a bit of time since I last posted anything. I've been kinda busy with work, and, not to mention, a little under the weather. There is a GI bug going around the whole freaking city of Omaha...not sure...but I think I picked it up mid-week. Let me tell ya...puk'in and poop'in isn't all it is cracked up to be.

Anyway, Ian got his first hair cut on May 5th. It was our way of celebrating a little Cinco De Mayo...baby style! It was kinda a spur of the moment type of thing, but I'm glad we did it none the less. I said I'm...not we. Warren is missing the messy mop of hair that added another inch or two to his height, but, did I mention I'm not. We aren't WT around here. We will not...I am annamet on not...braiding my son's hair into a pony tail. Maybe later on in life he can have a few cornrows...but I'm not paying to have my son's hair braided at this junction. I love his little curls, but when his hair is longer than my daughter's hair...there is a little something that can come off the top. In any case, enjoy the little pictures included.

Ok...I know many of you have already seen these pictures, but I have to brag some more! I LOVE MY LITTLE IAN!!! He is just the cutest little heart breaker there is! Thank you to Alyson and Dylan for taking some phenomenal pictures of my little boy. If you live around Lincoln, NE somewhere and you are looking for someone to take amazing photos give Aly and Dylan Photography a ringaling!!! They were great! Lord love Picnik! Picnik is a fun and EASY photo editing website. I'm still getting use to it yet, but needless to say...there are lots of things you can do there for little to no money at all!

I made this little collage of Ian chow'in down on his dinner! It might look a little nasty, but it was all over the place...aka "I LIKE IT MOM!"

Tax DAY is a happy day!

So...for some people tax day is filled with anxiety and worry. "Will I get everything in on time?!", and still some people say, "Why didn't I get this done sooner?!" For some people...my accounting friends...they start to breathe a little easier today. For the O'Brien family...IT IS A DAY OF CELEBRATION! One year ago today Cael made any entrance into the world! Congrat's to Chad and Beth! You made it through the first year!

I can remember the sense of accomplishment that went with getting a year under my belt. When I took Sophia in for her one year well baby check the doctor said, "Well...one year down and many more to come!" I couldn't help but smile through the whole visit. It was almost like graduating from college again...NO...passing my nursing boards again! In commemoration of today I'm going to post a few pictures of the two little homeboys! The first is of Cael and Ian in Chad's arms. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't even consider doing this today. Both of these boys are to wiggly to hold together today!



This next pic is of Cail with his new hairdo at Ian's first birthday party! LOVE the hair, baby!
